Fun birthday gifts for fellow sewers: pincushions! I got the pattern from
UK lass in US. I changed it a little: I made the stem a small, flat piece of fleece and I didn't make a cute little leaf because I didn't have any green fleece sitting around. I hope my friends like them as much as I do!
very cute! And this little birdy is a
free pattern from spool. I may be making many more to make the ever- popular
bird mobile. (I even picked up some sticks on our bike ride this morning!) I love that it is whimsical and natural all at the same time.
